Science and Engineering

From short-term overseas programs lasting a week to long-term programs spanning a year or more, and student exchange programs under tuition waivers, there are numerous opportunities available.

This section introduces study abroad programs for all Science Tokyo students.

TASTE short-term language learning

Short-term language study programs are available in English, French, German, and Chinese. Students attend a language school at the target university for approximately one month, aiming to improve their language skills and cross-cultural understanding through classes, living in the area, and participating in exchange events.

Season program with partner universities

Why not take part in a summer/winter school organized by our partner universities? Some programs offer tuition fee waivers. This is also recommended for those considering long-term study abroad in the future.

Science Tokyo-AYSEAS

Science Tokyo-AYSEAS ("AYSEAS") is organized annually by Science Tokyo and partner universities. It brings together students from universities in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam for a 10-day joint educational program hosted by a participating university in Southeast Asia.
