Tuition payments are due by the end of May for the spring semester and by the end of November for the fall semester, as stipulated by Science Tokyo regulations. Notices of overdue tuition payment (督促状) are sent by email or regular mail to students whose accounts have not been settled after these deadlines.
Previously, if overdue tuition fees had not been paid even after several reminders had been sent to a student, Tokyo Tech would contact their guarantors or contact persons, and TMDU would contact their parents or guardians. However, due to changing regulations with the merger of the universities, Science Tokyo will no longer send Overdue Tuition Payment notices to those persons starting in the spring semester of the 2025 academic year.
Therefore, if someone other than you pays for your tuition, please inform them of this change.
