1.[Science and Engineering] 2024 4th Quarter Make-up Classes and Final Exams Schedule
Period: Tuesday, February 4 to Wednesday, February 12
*The spare day for weekly classes is Wednesday, February 12.
- The schedule was updated in January and may be revised when any changes occur. Please make sure to confirm the details of the courses you have registered.
- You must show your student ID card of Science Tokyo when you take the exams. Please receive it at the Student Division immediately if you have not.
- You must not cheat in the exams. If a student is found to be cheating during an exam or other assignment, all exams and other assignments taken that semester will be invalidated, and they will receive a zero or a failing grade for courses taken that semester, according to Article 7 of the Institute’s Rules on Student Disciplinary Action, which were amended in October, 2024.

2.[Science and Engineering] Renewal of a student ID card
If your student ID card expires in March, 2025, you should apply for card renewal.

We will tell you a pick-up date when you apply.
*You may apply after the deadline, but a new student ID card might be ready after the expiration date.
3.[Science and Engineering] Issuance of Extra Completion Certificate and Academic Transcript(Graduate School students completing in March, 2025)
After the Conferment Ceremony,1copy of a Completion Certificate and an Academic
Transcript in Japanese will be issued in Japanese to every graduated student.
In addition to this, an English version of same documents will be issued to international students.
If you need more than 1 copy of a Certificate/Transcript in Japanese or in English, you are
requested to apply in advance through the survey form on the Kyomu Web during the periods below.

4.[Science and Engineering] "Pre-registration" for Humanities and Social Science Courses in 1Q and 2Q 2025 (Mid-March)
Undergraduate students and Master's degree students (*) who are planning to take Humanities and Social Science Courses in 1Q and 2Q 2025 are advised to apply through “Pre-registration” on the Web System for Students and Faculty prior to the Course Registration Period.
There are many courses for which the number of applicants reach full capacity by pre-registration. Be sure to pre-register if you plan to take any Humanities and Social Science courses.
"Pre-registration" will be held in mid-March.
Details will be announced at the end of February or at the beginning of March by email. Please be sure to check emails sent from the university during spring break. (Emails will be sent to “…@m.titech.ac.jp” addresses.)
Regarding Humanities and Social Science Courses of 300-level, pre-registration will not be held in 2025. When you take 300-level course(s), just register it/them in the Course Registration Period.
*For undergraduate and master’s degree students of spring (April) 2025 admission, registration instructions will be given at the time of enrollment procedures.
[Academy for Leadership (ToTAL)]
(1) ToTAL/Open Programs:
Academy for Leadership (ToTAL) is offering more than 20 kinds of workshops annually for fostering and developing leadership and entrepreneurship mindset and skills. Regardless of whether you are in ToTAL or not, or whether you are an undergraduate or a graduate student, any student can apply to participate in these workshops.
In addition, graduate students can register for ToTAL's courses that consist of a combination of those workshops to acquire credits and GAs.

1. <Capturing Multi-perspectives Workshop (series of 2 classes)>
-Date and time etc.: Wednesdays, February 12, 2025 and February 19, 2025, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
-Venue: Room S4-202, Ookayama Campus
-Facilitators: Y. Mizukami and N. Higa, Co-Founders, Meshwork, LLC.
-Outline: In this class, using an anthropological approach, we will concretize the image of the “future” that was created in the “Future Foresight” class in December 2024, and ultimately create and perform a script. What do the diverse individuals living in that “future” think, and how do they behave in that situation? Cultivating this kind of imagination will be an essential skill for developing new technologies and businesses in the future.

2. <Briefing session on business creation workshop “Lean Launchpad Program (LLP)” to be offered in 1Q-2Q AY2025>
-Date and time: Friday, February 14, 2025, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
-Venue: [In person] Room S6-309B, Ookayama Campus
[Online] Zoom link will be notified to participants on a later date.
-Outline: Lean Launchpad Program (LLP), a full-scale business creation workshop for developing and incubating new businesses as a team, will be held approximately two months starting from the end of May 2025. The workshop is for any student who are interested in starting a business, business creation, entrepreneurship and leadership. Any Science Tokyo student may participate.
It is especially suitable for the following students:
a. Those who are thinking about participating in business competitions or raising funds in the future
b. Those who do not have a clear business idea but are interested in starting a business
c. Those who are interested in working for a company in the future
d. Those who are interested in creating new values
e. Those who are interested in leadership/entrepreneurship

Students will learn about issues, initiatives, and implementation methods from lecturers from leading companies and organizations in various fields in On-demand classes.
