[Exclusive seminar for Institute of Science Tokyo]

With new technologies and innovations emerging around the globe all the time, it may not be easy to get a grip on which ones really matter to businesses, society, and our everyday life.

This gives rise to many questions, such as does the rise of artificial intelligence mean just more profit for semiconductor companies, or does it have far broader implications for the global economy? And how did China become such a key player in the electric vehicle industry?

Nikkei Asia is an online publication that covers business, economy, and politics in Asia-Pacific and one of its strengths lies its in-depth coverage of the technology sector, from AI to semiconductors to electric vehicles.

In this seminar, Nikkei Asia’s Deputy Publisher Katsuhiko Hara will explain how you can read and use the media to gain a better understanding of trends in the sector.

The seminar will last for an hour, consisting of a 30-minute lecture, a 15-minute Q&A session, and a 15-minute demonstration of useful features available on the Nikkei Asia website and mobile app.

You can register via the Microsoft form by Science Tokyo’s Student Support Center at Ookayama to attend the seminar:
