The problem with negotiation is that it often fails--deals are not made, relationships are damaged, and money and time are wasted. This class will give you an opportunity to increase your self-awareness and diagnostic capability as a negotiator.
-Details and application

(c) <Leadership for creating a Collaborative Research Environment (series of 6 classes>
-Date and time: All classes to be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Mondays, May 19, 2025; May 26, 2025; June 16, 2025; June 30, 2025; July 14, 2025; July 28, 2025
-Venue: Room S6-309A, Ookayama Campus
-Outline: Research outcomes are not solely determined by individual effort; they are also greatly influenced by the environment of the research lab and the dynamics of the team. Across different disciplines, researchers face common challenges in how research is conducted, how knowledge is shared, how decisions are made, and the structures that support daily research activities. But should we simply accept these challenges as "unchangeable" when we are in an academic setting that fosters exploration and innovation? This class aims to help participants expand their research networks and build collaborative relationships that foster knowledge creation. Using project management methodologies, participants will analyze challenges in their own research projects, exchange insights with peers, and learn practical approaches to advancing their research more effectively through hands-on exercises.
-Details and application

(d) <Trading Game>
