The Student Support Center at Okayama hosts art seminars featuring artist and poet Zuse Meyer twice a year, in spring and autumn.
This autumn's workshop will take place at Ookayama campus.
The topic is "The Power of Drawing"
What is a drawing? What is a Line? What makes a drawing so powerful?
In this seminar we will explore the unique possibilities and ways of pencil and pastel drawing. The purpose of this workshop is to gain new knowledge and inspiration through the arts, to learn different techniques and to find one’s own individual ways of expression.
The seminar will be led by Zuse Meyer, a painter and poet who is also a lecturer at Science Tokyo. Meyer currently creates artwork in both Berlin and Tokyo, hosting original art workshops and art classes. She is a graduate of the Berlin University of the Arts.
No specific skill or experience is needed.
