Mindful Manners: A Reminder
Please do your part to be respectful of our local residents.
Our campus is situated in a community that has long been shared by students and local residents. Many of these residents actively support academic and club activities at Science Tokyo. In turn, it’s essential that we recognize our shared responsibility as members of this community, and do our part to maintain these positive relationships in a respectful environment.
Here are a few friendly reminders to help keep our campus and local area welcoming for everyone:
- Quiet Hours: Be mindful of noise levels, especially late at night or early in the morning. Avoid loitering on sidewalks or engaging in disruptive behavior, particularly after social gatherings.
- Smoking Regulations: Remember that smoking is prohibited on the streets and sidewalks in Meguro Ward, as well as in all other cities and wards. Smoking not only harms the health of the user, but also has a secondhand effect on those in the vicinity.
Please be mindful of your actions, and do your part to ensure a peaceful, respectful environment for both the campus and the larger community.
