Your Student ID Number and Name should be included.

Q1

When is the application period?

A1

Applications period will be open on our website in every early April.
Students who have not yet enrolled are not eligible to apply.
*Subject to change.

Q2

When the screening result will be announced?

A2

Generally the result will be announced around every June.
Additionally, the fall semester result will be announced in November based on Spring semester grades.
*Subject to change.

Q3

There are courses which grades have not been reported.

A3

Courses marked as “unreported” at the time of review will be excluded from this evaluation.
Scholarship continuation for the second semester will be determined based on the GPA at the end of the first semester of the academic year.

Q4

If I don't take any classes in the first semester of my final year, will it affect my eligibility to Scholarship continuation?

A4

If you do not enroll in courses during the first semester of your final academic year due to reasons such as having already earned the required credits for graduation, your first semester evaluation will generally carry over to the second semester.

Q5

Does the scholarship amount change between the first and second semesters?

A5

New students undergo an initial review based on their entrance exam scores.
A subsequent review is conducted in the second semester based on the GPA from the first semester of that academic year, so the evaluation result and amount may change.

Current students (years 2-4) undergo initial semester screening based on the previous year's GPA. For the second semester, the amount generally remains unchanged unless the first-semester GPA for that academic year falls below 3.0, in which case scholarship may be suspended.
Additionally, if any current students have their scholarship suspended, additional selections may be made for the second semester.

Q6

How will my application be reviewed if I have no academic record from the previous year due to a leave of absence?

A6

Students who took a leave of absence in the previous academic year will be evaluated based on their most recent academic year's grades.

Q7

I want to know more detailed screening criteria.

A7

This scholarship is determined based on student applications and budgetary considerations.
Details regarding the selection process (including the number of recipients per award category) are not disclosed.
We kindly ask for your understanding that the selection process involves deliberation by the university committee to ensure the fairness.
